Laki COVID-19 statement

To our valued partners

As an internationally oriented company that has partners in more than 50 countries worldwide, Laki is part of a global community that is facing a challenge in the upcoming months due to COVID-19 outbreak.

Food supply is one of the most important industries in the world and now more than ever, we as a part of the food industry, have the responsibility to support one another and to be accountable to each other and the global population.

We remain fully focused to support our common and future projects and continue to offer you products and services that rise to your expectations.

Last 7 days we’re seeing a dramatic increase in the demand for our products. In order to maintain steady supply, we are asking for your patience and support through planned orders and payment terms.

Food safety is our long-term goal and with current information, we can confirm:

‘’Currently there is no evidence of food or food packaging being associated with transmission of COVID-19.
Unlike foodborne gastrointestinal (GI) viruses like norovirus and hepatitis A that often make people ill through contaminated food, SARS-CoV-2, which causes COVID-19, is a virus that causes respiratory illness. Foodborne exposure to this virus is not known to be a route of transmission.
However, it’s always critical to follow the 4 key steps of food safety—clean, separate, cook, and chill – to prevent foodborne illness.‘’

We sincerely hope that each of you, both individually and in families, remain untouched by this virus and that its economic impact on our companies is mitigated as far as possible.

With kind regards,
Laki doo CEO
Mr. Boris Obradovic
