On March 4, 2022. Laki d.o.o. cohosted the “First Conference of the Berry Agribusiness Sector” organized by the “Institute for the Application of Science in Agriculture” Belgrade, “Institute Biosens” Novi Sad and “Green Hit” Belgrade. The aim of the conference was to point out to farmers, processors and experts in the field of fruit growing, the importance and potential that the Republic of Serbia has in the production of berries in order to adapt to trends and changes in the world market. The participants of the conference were introduced to the importance of the application of modern technologies in the production of berries, as well as the economic analysis of this production. The lecturers were eminent experts from the country and abroad in the field of berry production and “smart” agriculture. In addition to these lectures, an exhibition of products was organized by successful manufacturers as well as the organizers themselves.

On 25th February 28, 2022 in local town center Arilje, Laki co-organized educational conference named:

European future for berry fruits

 
The main subject was the presentation of the newest trends in berry production, with special emphasis on local raspberry production.

Presenters included a professor from the University of Agriculture, an advisor from the Technology Institute and recognized consultants in raspberry production.

Current and new potential farmers/suppliers could learn about latest technology and new market requirements. The open and both-way discussions proved that there is great interest in this kind of education and consulting. We will continue to organize similar events, with our main goal to make improvements in the quality and volume of local raw material production.
